The ex-TOWIE star was seen tapping up the bosses of the ITV1 show after watching from the sidelines last week.
The flame-haired beautician is praying she will be allowed to get her skates on to show off her skills.
A source said: "Amy was openly chatting up producers in the hope of taking part in next year's show.
"Obviously they were flattered that she wants to appear.
"But it is far too early to be deciding anything like that — we haven't even finished this series yet."
Meanwhile, security will be TRIPLED for Dancing On Ice next week — when One Direction perform at the rink.
Insiders at Elstree studios say show bosses are preparing for hordes of teens hoping to catch a glimpse of the lads.
The boy band will be singing their hit What Makes You Beautiful and new single One Thing.
A source close to the show said: "Producers are very concerned that thousands of fans will storm the studios.
"That cannot be allowed to happen during a live show."
Dancing On Ice has been struck by the injury curse once again, with Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden unable to rehearse before last night's performance.
The former gymnast — who skated against Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter — was so desperate to up his game before the show that he overdid it.
Matthew and his partner Nina Ulanova had to change their routine at the last minute because of a trapped nerve.
