Adele news: Singer confirms she will perform at the Grammys next month
The Londoner's sensational voice has not been heard on stage since she underwent surgery to cure a condition that threatened her vocal cords last November.
But after a successful recovery period, the star has revealed she "can't wait" to perform at the awards ceremony.
Adele, 23, is also due to perform at the Brit Awards a week later.
The Someone Like You singer told fans on Twitter: "Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon xx."
Adele had the crucial op in the US after being diagnosed with a vocal cord haemorrhage, which could have wrecked her singing voice forever.
The record-breaking star — who sold 3.7 million copies of her album 21 last year — was forced to cancel a string of live shows due to her throat problems.
She had complained earlier of her voice just "switching off", a problem which caused concern for many months.
She is among the nominees for the Grammy Awards, to be held in Los Angeles on Sunday February 12. She is in the running for six prizes.
