Alex Reid demands apology from Joey Essex over claims fiancée Chantelle Houghton 'used to get about a bit'

Furious Alex Reid has demanded a public apology from reality star Joey Essex after an unflattering comment about his fiancée Chantelle Houghton.
The cagefighter, 36, hit out at The Only Way Is Essex star's 'salacious defamatory' comment about his pregnant girlfriend in this weekend's Fabulous magazine.
Essex, 21, had described Celebrity Big Brother 2006 winner Houghton, 28, as someone who 'used to get about a bit'.

The unflattering comment came as the club promoter was given the options of Essex celebrities Denise Van Outen, Stacey Solomon and Houghton for a game of Snog, Marry, Avoid.
Given the choice, Essex said he would marry Van Outen, kiss Solomon and avoid Houghton.
Explaining his choice, he told the magazine: '(Denise) is well fit. How old is she? She's gorgeous.
'Well I'm marry her, snog Stacey thingy and avoid Chantelle. She used to get about a bit, didn't she?'

And it appears former cagefighter Reid was not impressed when he read the article and sent Essex a public Twitter message demanding an apology.
He wrote: '@JoeyEssex_ thought we were friendly,guess not after ur (sic) salacious defamatory comment in Sun bout @chantellehought. I expect an apology.'
When some of his Twitter followers suggested Essex's comments may have been made up, Reid replied he had read it in an interview.
He added: 'In Fabulous actually, interviewing him.'

Reid and his girlfriend of nine months are awaiting the birth of their first child in May.
The couple revealed her pregnancy in November just a month after Reid proposed to Houghton live on an Irish TV chat show.
The couple have been dating since meeting at the Fate Awards in Belfast last April - just a few months after Reid split from estranged wife Katie Price after 10 months of marriage.
Their meeting came just a few weeks after Houghton split from TV presenter Rav Wilding after a stormy five month romance.
Prior to Wilding, the model also dated footballer Jermain Defoe and had a 10 month marriage to fellow CBB contestant Samuel Preston.
