Put her down! Jack Osbourne moves in for a Christmas day smooch with his pregnant fiancée under the tree

Some public displays of affection are quite sweet while other can border on nauseating for those who have to witness them.

And it would appear that Jack Osbourne is trying to fall into the latter category, if his latest Twitter offering is anything to go by.

The reality TV star posted a photograph to his social networking page on Christmas Day of him and his fiancée Lisa Stelly under their Christmas tree.

But while she is snuggled into her beloved and flashing a big smile to the camera, Jack has his mouth wide open as he moves in for the kill.

And his caption that he added to the picture charmingly said: 'Christmas tree makeout!'

Just a few days later, he went one step further when he decided to take a picture of Lisa on the toilet and share it on the site.

He posted the black and white snap and wrote: 'This is what @lisamarstelly looks like when she is on the toilet. Hahahahaha.'

Jack, 25, and Lisa, 26, announced in October that they were going to be parents, with their first child due to be born next April.

The news came just weeks after he proposed to her, even though they had only been seeing each other for four months.

After revealing the news that he was to be a father on Piers Morgan's CNN show, the star said:'I'm excited. I'm a little nervous.'

His mother Sharon was more forthcoming, and speaking on The Talk programme the following day gushed:  'Our family is growing, and I love that.  It's just a blessing, it's a joy. They're going to have a baby in April. Yes!'

But their first Christmas together was tinged with sadness after the Osbourne family mourned the loss of one of their beloved pets, 14-year-old pet Chihuahua Martin.
