Neil Rosen's Top 10 Worst Films Of 2011

Then come back here and refresh the page.
There were some truly awful movies in the past year and NY1's Neil Rosen shares his 10 worst list for 2011.
There were so many bad movies this year, so let's get right to it. Here are my 10 worst films of 2011.
The Anna Faris comedy "What's Your Number?" was like watching a bad sitcom laced with raunch. The screenplay seemed like it was written by amateur hacks and the direction wasn't much better.
With "Carnage," a bad play became a worse, stagebound movie. The actors as well as director Roman Polanski, couldn't overcome the lousy, unrealistic material and Jodie Foster overacted. Would you hate it? Sure you would.
In "The Big Bang," Antonio Banderas was totally miscast in the role of a hard-boiled Los Angeles private investigator. The movie itself was an incomprehensible piece of junk.
Add "Just Go With It" to the list of poorly scripted, pathetic rom coms with Jennifer Ansiton. Adam Sandler used to make funny movies. What happened?
With the awful thriller "Trespass," I wondered, "Will Nicolas Cage do any lousy script that's offered to him? What about Nicole Kidman?"
"Hall Pass" wasn't just bad, it was a train wreck for the Farrelly brothers, full of lazy writing and phoned-in performances. No one came out of this lowbrow, cringe-inducing mess with any shred of dignity.
Director Garry Marshall's new movie "New Year's Eve" was so awful that it made his last mediocre film, "Valentine's Day," look like "Masterpiece Theatre." A torturous experience to sit through, I was actually embarrassed for the entire all-star cast.
"Swinging With The Finkels," about a couple who wants to spice up their marriage, was tasteless, humorless, predictable and tiring. It was a half a wormy apple if I ever saw one.
The kids in "Super 8" were cloyingly annoying and the script was boring, predictable and lame. And the mystery, once revealed, was even more pathetic.
Finally, watching Edward and Bella's excruciatingly long wedding and honeymoon in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1" was tedious and painful. Plus the dialogue was unintentionally laughable.
Here's to some better movies in 2012. Happy Holidays everybody!
