Russell Brand Steps Out Without Wedding Ring
Russell Brand stepped out in London's West End on Thursday without his other half, Katy Perry, or the symbol of their marriage -- his wedding ring. Could it be that Brand simply forgot to slip on his ring or could there be trouble in paradise for comedic actor and his popstar wife? Brand's lack of jewelry comes at a time when rumors of a split for the pair are in mass circulation.
The pair reportedly spent Christmas apart after Perry changed her plans to fly to London to be with her husband and instead jetted off to Hawaii to spend the holiday with friends.
The unlikely pair tied the knot in October 2010 and just last month when their divorce rumors started to gain momentum, Brand told Ellen Degeneres that they had no merit: "There is always rumors, aren't there? In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy. But they've had to go!" the British comedian joked. "I've treated the whole Internet now like it's a wicked little liar... I am really happily married."
Although his naked ring finger may unfortunately indicate otherwise, we hope the pair really is "happily married."

One Direction’s Zayn Malik vows to ditch the fags
But the hardest task for Zayn Malik will be quitting smoking.
He's set himself the target of giving up the fags in 2012 after a telling-off from his management.
Zayn said: "My New Years' resolution is definitely to quit smoking. I need to do it."
Dedicated smoker Zayn gets through up to 20 a day so it's no surprise he wants to stop.
It doesn't help that he's been papped a fair few times having a crafty fag out the back of TV studios and venues.
With 1D's 23-date tour ongoing and plenty more live gigs due next year it'll do his singing voice a lot of good too.
Zayn is not the only member of the five-piece aiming to be healthier with their 2012 resolutions. The apartment block the lads share includes a top-class gym, but they admit they rarely use it.
Niall Horan said: "I definitely need to use the gym more next year." Liam Payne added: "I ask Niall if he wants to go to the gym and he says 'I'll see you there' then never turns up, unless he's hiding under the weight bench lifting 40kg and I didn't spot him.
"Now we've had to freeze our gym membership because we've been away on tour."
The way their merchandise has been selling during their sell-out tour, they can definitely afford to keep it going.
Niall is also keen to learn to drive, if he can find the time.
He'll need to buy a booster seat first, to see over the steering wheel.
