Beavis Look-A-Like On 'Beavis And Butt-Head'
With most of television taking the week off for the holiday celebrations, it was a landscape quiet enough to hear the signature snickering of "Beavis and Butt-Head" (Thu., 10 p.m. EST on MTV) as the duo bade farewell to their triumphant return to the airwaves. There were no poignant moments of self-reflection from the idiots who shaped a generation in the 1990s, only to return nearly 15 years later to do it again.
Instead, one short saw them attempting to "score" by hooking up with the "whores" and "fornicators" in an abortion clinic, while the other saw them getting trapped in an elevator with a beautiful woman and -- well -- trying to "score." But it was Butt-Head's astute observation about singer Jake Walden that was perhaps the most surprising revelation of the night.
He started by comparing Walden's underbite to Beavis', and then realized that they share a raspy voice as well -- though Butt-Head was certain Walden was faking his. The final conclusion was that Walden was both creepy, and shared a startling resemblance to Beavis.
