They're usually hard at work on set of their soap series, but on Saturday the famous girls got together to enjoy a glamorous night out in Manchester.

Soap stars Catherine Tyldesley, Jorgie Porter and Jennifer Metcalfe attended the Royal Television Society Awards and glammed up for the star-studded occasion.

All three ladies opted for a black look, making the most of their assets and showing off their enviable slim figures.

Catherine Tyldesley, 29, led the fashion pack in a floor length black gown that hugged her figure in all the right places.

The dress featured a lace top, with the satin bottom boasting a mermaid silhouette.

Making sure she grabbed everyone's attention, she sported a glam half up, half down hairdo and a serious smoky eye make-up look.

Catherine was joined at the awards gala by her personal trainer boyfriend who also dressed up and looked dapper in a suit.

Jennifer Metcalfe attended in a familiar dress. The navy sequined number has been worn by her fellow soap star Catherine during a charity dinner last month.

However, the Hollyoaks star did manage to look svelte in the sizzling number, that made good use of her cleavage.

Leaving her brown locks down, the 29-year-old was sure to grab the spotlight as she stepped out onto the red carpet.

Meanwhile Jorgie Porter opted for a more laid back look, but added glamour with her gold embellished little black dress.

She showed off her toned legs as she teamed it up with a stylish black long line blazer as she made her way to the awards do at the Hilton Hotel.

Other celebrities attending the Television awards included Jenny McAlpine, Tina Malone, Sol Heras, Lesley Sharp and Nicholas Gleave.
