Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne inspired by support after revealing double mastectomy

SHARON Osbourne has been inspired by the support she received after revealing she had a double mastectomy earlier this year.

The former X Factor judge, 60, said: "I have had letters from people who were in the same position and that has made me feel really good — I get goose pimples thinking about it."

Rocker Ozzy's wife made the difficult decision to have both her breasts removed after doctors told her she carried a gene likely to cause breast cancer.

Now she's back on top form and will be a judge on Simon Cowell's new ITV Christmas show That Dog Can Dance.
