Chantelle Houghton puts on a brave face as she displays sleek new hairstyle at OK magazine party

Chantelle Houghton has had an extremely tough time of late with her love life being played out in public.

However, the reality TV star put her issues to one side as she partied at Sway nightclub in Covent Garden, London on Tuesday night.

The 29-year-old also showed off a new sleek hairstyle as she arrived at the OK magazine Christmas party.

The mother-of-one really did look like a different person as she sported a classy look for the festive celebration.

Chantelle wore a white blazer with a matching silk blouse that she teamed with a pair of baggy black trousers.

With her long blonde locks straightened to the extreme, the former Big Brother winner showed her fellow party-goers how to stay elegant.

She completed the outfit with a pair of pointy white stilettos and a cream Chanel handbag.

With the rare chance to let her hair down she tweeted after the party: 'Had lovely night at @OK_Magazine Christmas party! X'.

Chantelle has been suffering heartache for months since splitting with Alex Reid, despite the cage fighter claiming they have reunited.

Alex has come forward to claim that Chantelle has in fact embraced for a passionate kiss with him following their break-up.

Reid has opened up to this week's Now magazine, revealing he was convinced they'd get back together after he showed up at their former shared house to visit daughter Dolly and 'help her move house'.

He claimed: 'After a couple of hours of being with her there was a real chemistry between us,' adding that they 'even got romantic' and 'passionately kissed'.

Alex also told the magazine that Chantelle had told him that she missed him and still loved him.

But since she publicly made allegations about his alleged sex dungeon and sex life, Reid has now blasted the former Celebrity Big Brother star for her actions since moving on.

The 37-year-old has disputed Chantelle's claims he cheated on her while they were still an item, saying: 'I fear Chantelle's making me out as some sort of sexual deviant. I never cheated on her.'

Although his heartfelt comments come as Chantelle has also spoken out, insisting she doesn't believe his claims that he didn't cheat on her and that she hasn't 'heard a thing' from him despite him stating that he's been trying to see Dolly.

Other guests at the star studded OK magazine party included Kerry Katona and TOWIE's Gemma Collins and Jessica Wright.
