jessie j new song leaked online crazy bout you
JESSIE J looks stunning in this snap of her new image - and she has a long-awaited new song to go with it.
Fans have been eager to hear something new from the singer for almost a year until Silver Lining (Crazy Bout You) leaked online yesterday.
Penned by award-winning songwriter Dianne Warren, the upbeat ballad is believed to be taken from the soundtrack to forthcoming comedy movie Silver Linings Playbook, which stars Bradley Cooper, Riobert De Niro and Jennifer Lawrence.
Lyrics in the track follow Jessie's typical motivational and positive style, including: "Don't care what they say, don't care what this world thinks, we got each other, that's all we need, and you've showed me, I don't need nothing else."
Her vocals also follow her usual powerful and ranging sound over the pop beat.
When the track leaked she excitedly tweeted fans about the project - name-checking movie producer Harvey Weinstein.
She said: "Ok so I have woken up to see #crazyboutyou all over my timeline... Let me explain this song and what its for :D
"So... :) @Diane_Warren was asked to write the leading soundtrack song for a new movie called #SilverLining and so @Diane_Warren wrote #crazyboutyou Then.. @Diane_Warren asked me to sing It for the movie *happy dance* obvs I said yes :D."
"So #crazyboutyou is for the new Hollywood movie #SilverLining and I am singing the soundtrack song that @Diane_Warren wrote."
Jessie, 24, then added: "#SilverLining #crazyboutyou #hollywoodsoundtrack #harveyweinstein @Diane_Warren #BOOOYAA."
There is no confirmed release date for Jessie's second studio album as yet, but she is set to tour the UK in 2013 to coincide with the new material, with 17 arena dates which kick off on February26 and run until March 21..
Silver Linings Playbook is scheduled for release on November 21.
