James Corden and Jack Whitehall sport costumes as they take part in synchronised swimming... while Jamie Redknapp sticks to shorts
|
James Corden is never one to shy away from making fun of his frame.
And on Friday night's episode of A League of Their Own viewers will see the comedian slip into a swimming costume to perform a synchronised routine.
James will battle it out against Jack Whitehall, who also opted for female swimwear, and Jamie Redknapp.
Suits you! James Corden donned a bright pink swimming costume as part of a sketch for quiz show A League of Their Own
Unlike his colleagues the retired footballer shows off his toned shape in a pair of swimming shorts.
James, who has slimmed down in recent years, looked hilarious in his bright pink swimsuit and appeared to have spray painted the side of his head to match his costume.
Jack was seen in a yellow ensemble but his performance appeared a little more theatrical.
He's got the moves: Corden threw himself into the routine and was see bending over with plenty of attitude
Nothing mellow about yellow: Jack Whitehall also joined in the fun and he arrived poolside in a yellow mac
He was seen surrounded by girls dressed in yellow coats before he ripped it off to reveal his feminine attire.
The comic was seen leaping into the pool with surprising grace.
It's not clear who will win but there's no doubt that both James and Jack warrant extra points for their impressive outfits.
How graceful! The funnyman was seen jumping into the pool first
Safety first: Jack worn a pair of goggles for the occasion
Not feeling it? Jamie Redknapp didn't seem to put as much effort into the performance as James and Jack. The retired footballer wore a pair of shorts for his routine
Six-time Olympic gold medallist Sir Chris Hoy, double Olympic medallist Rebecca Adlington OBE and David Walliams all appear on the show.
As well as the pool-based sketch Hoy and Walliams will take on Jack and Freddie Flintoff in a life drawing class, their subject is football legend Neil Ruddock.
There will also be a motorbike challenge and a game of 'linesman running'.
The show airs on Friday November 2 at 10pm on Sky 1.
