Dick Cheney Heart Transplant

Former Vice President Dick Cheney (71) is recovering from heart transplant surgery he had on Saturday in a Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. The surgery was necessary after five confirmed heart attacks severely damaged his heart. He was put on the donor list 20 months ago after receiving a left ventricular assist device. The heart's left ventricle pumps 75% of the blood, so that only assisting that part of the heart can keep a person alive, provided they don't get a blood clot.

The identity of the donor was not announced, because it never is. I'd like to know when Dick went hunting last. The last time he shot one of his friends in the face, this time he may have come back with a new heart.
