When you get a new pet, you want to lavish all your attention upon at all times.
But taking it to dinner with you is probably taking things a little too far.
That's what David Walliams, 40, and his wife Lara Stone, 28, did when they brought along new puppy Zimbio to Scott's fish restaurant in Mayfair.

Lara carried the pup in her arms as the couple made their way to the restaurant together.
The Dutch model wore a fur jacket, with a black top and black leather effect leggings, matched with a pair of black peep toe heels.
David opted for a trusty dark grey suit with a black shirt and shoes.

At the restaurant the couple actually dined outside in the cold, in a rather considerate gesture to other customers.
Lara also held a collection of dog toys in her arms as the couple sauntered down Mount Street in Mayfair, Zimbio looking very comfortable in his mother's arms.
Earlier this week David and Lara went a meeting at No.10 Downing Street to recognise his achievements on behalf of Sports Relief.

David was beaming with pride next to his gorgeous wife, who wore her hair off her face in a chic bun, and barely any make-up.
She flaunted her long legs in an ultra-short white dress.

So no doubt there would have been plenty of jokes about it when he the comedian actually met the real PM.
Walliams joined fellow celebrities who had taken part in Sport Relief challenge for a reception at David Cameron's residence.
